6. President George W. Bush was born in the state of Connecticut.

7. The Connecticut River was originally named the Versche River by early Dutch explorers.

Connecticut is one of the smaller states in the United States, but it doesn’t lack for anything when it comes to its history and how it is able to treat the tourists that visit there.
